NEW PAVILION INITIATIVE - TARGET END 2008
On the same day
as the Junior Academy Open Day, the Pavilion Initiative Fund was officially with the unveiling of the "batometer".
It showed that impressive progress has already been made towards the target
of £250,000.
President Peter Murray said that “whilst it is a
tremendous start, we must not lose sight of the fact that we need another £40,000
to be able to engage contractors to commence work by the autumn.”

PAVILION DREAM TO BECOME A REALITY IN BY
END 2008
HELP SECURE A BETTER LEGACY FOR FUTURE CRICKET AT OUTWOOD
Those of you who attended the 2006 AGM could have been forgiven for thinking
that it was an almost impossible dream. So many unknowns, the insurance claim
outstanding and the likelihood of £100,000+ to raise.
By contrast, the February
2007 AGM set the scene for the dream to be transformed into a very achievable
reality. The insurance claim has now been settled. We believe we need to add an
additional £60,000 to the insurance settlement and hope to contribute at least
£22,000 towards the £60,000 target from our existing funds.
